Mentor Programs

Creating mentorship efforts that work by design, not by accident.

I work nationally with organizations to design, strengthen, and sustain effective mentorship programs. I also facilitate cohort-based mentor training grounded in best practices.

The Full Circle Mentoring Approach

Effective mentorship is not hierarchical or transactional—it is intentional, reciprocal, and designed to support growth over time.

The full circle approach centers the mentee as an active driver of the relationship while holding both mentor and mentee accountable for shared learning, clear expectations, and the responsibility to pay it forward. Effective mentorship requires structure, skill, and care to optimize the mentoring relationship and ensure no harm is done.

This philosophy is the backbone of how transformative mentoring programs are designed—not just how individual relationships are framed.

Mentoring Matters

We’ll work together to identify the most effective and supportive design for your mentoring program and offer research informed mentor training to ensure the best possible mentored experience.

Mentorship Program Consulting

I support organizations with designing and strengthening mentorship programs that are intentional, equitable, and sustainable.

Consulting engagements may include:

  • Exploring program design or redesign needs

  • Clarifying roles, expectations, and success metrics

  • Aligning mentorship with organizational values and goals

  • Creating program elements that foster accountability, wellbeing, and growth

Cohort-Based Mentor Training (Virtual)

These trainings are designed to support mentors in developing the skills required for effective, ethical mentorship. They are highly interactive, grounded in best practice, and structured to support shared learning and reflection. Trainings are typically delivered across 1–4 sessions that cover the following topics:

  • Maintaining effective communication

  • Aligning expectations

  • Building trust and psychological safety

  • Fostering mutually beneficial relationships

Concentric Circles of Care (C3) Mentoring Program (Virtual)

Concentric Circles of Care (C3) Mentoring Program:

The C3 experience is a cohort-based mentoring circle format that offers space for guided, group mentoring opportunities for leaders to address collective needs of their fellow C3 participants. Just as geometric centric circles share the exact same powerful and dynamic centering point, the C3 mentoring experience leverages the strength that emanates from the cohort’s collective centering point, differing levels of closeness across the group, and the depth of protection that comes from vulnerability and trust over the course of the program.

The C3 mentoring focus is predominately shaped as peer-mentor experiences that will allow the group to exchange insights, expertise, encouragement, and psychosocial support with each other, while practicing effective, culturally responsive and responsible mentoring skills.

All C3 cohorts include a mini training session on how to optimize mentoring relationships. The first 3-4 virtual C3 mentoring sessions will start with a 30-minute training on:

  • Establishing common ground and group agreements

  • Maintaining effective communication

  • Aligning group expectations

  • Identifying peer mentorship needs
